Country Bob's Sauce

Today I got in my mail to try out 2 bottles of Country Bob's all purpose sauce. To start out with I think they packaged in a novel way with the packaging being recycled paper.

On getting the bottles out of the box I had to test try it and I must say I loved it. I am a big fan of steak sauce as I cook a lot of meat and this is the best i have ever tried even better that the stuff they use at steakhouses. I can't wait to try some of the other things they carry like the BBQ sauce or the seasoning salt as my other half loves using that. Country Bob's seems to ha a little bit of everything from sauce to salt even cookbooks and clothes.I myself want the gift pack to try all the types they have.

Foodwise tonight I used some of the sauce on my steak I had for dinner. It greatly helped disguise the fact my daughter's 17 yr old boyfriend over-spiced and over cooked it. Before then I used it to create the meat sauce I am using as a base for a pasta sauce for my oldest turning 16 on October 19th. But as you will see the meat sauce is so rich you can eat by itself on a sandwich or use any number of sauces to add be it gravy, tomato or cheese based.

              Meat Bases Overloaded

Ingredients-
1/2 pound sliced bacon
8 ounces chopped pepperoni
1 pound ground sausage
8 ounces diced mushrooms
1 medium yellow onion
2 tablespoons minced garlic
1/2 cup Country Bob's all purpose sauce
1/4 cup vegetable oil
dash lemon pepper and oregano

Prep-
Dice the onion and mix in the mushrooms, garlic and seasoning. Let sit in the fridge an hour.
Cut up the bacon and then mix in the pepperoni and sausage. Add the all purpose sauce and mix completely  Hand mixing makes sure of the best blend.

Cooking-
Cooking at a medium temp.Heat till hot the 1/4 cup of oil then add in the onion mixture.Cook for 5 mins then add the meat mixture. Mix the two together and let simmer until meat is cooked , stirring to keep everything cooked evenly.

Serving size 1/2 cup as is. Should be enough for around a dozen servings.

Myself I have this in a crock pot with fresh cut tomatoes and sauce to cook overnight. My house smells wonderful. Thank you Country Bob for letting me try your product. I think this is great to give as a gift as the prices are decent and the taste can not be beat.
